The Influence of Digital Literacy and Perceived Ease of Use on the Quality of Information Services at the Regional Civil Service Agency of Jambi Province
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the partial and simultaneous effects of employees’ digital literacy and perceived ease of use on information service quality at the Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD) of Jambi Province. The study employed a quantitative associative approach. The sample consisted of 86 employees selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results indicate that digital literacy has a positive and significant effect on information service quality, with a path coefficient of 0.614, a t-statistic of 8.157, and a p-value of less than 0.001. Perceived ease of use also has a positive and significant effect, with a path coefficient of 0.520, a t-statistic of 6.558, and a p-value of less than 0.001. Together, both variables explain 77% of the variance in information service quality, with an R-squared value of 0.770. These findings highlight the importance of digital literacy and perceived ease of use in improving personnel information services at the Regional Civil Service Agency of Jambi Province.
