Rancang Bangun Eklesiologi Kontekstual di Era Disrupsi: Studi tentang Respons Gereja Terhadap Perubahan Sosial Digital

Abstract

This study examines the development of a contextual ecclesiology in the era of disruption, focusing on the position and response of the church to social changes brought about by the digital revolution. Disruption as a socio-economic phenomenon has transformed patterns of interaction, communication, and spirituality within society, including among church congregations. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach through a literature review of theological documents and the thoughts of theologians such as Martin Luther, Jürgen Moltmann, and Kosuke Koyama. The findings indicate that the church faces the challenge of maintaining its identity as the body of Christ while simultaneously adapting to the changing times. The church is called to develop a contextual ecclesiology by utilizing digital technology for ministry without losing the essence of fellowship, teaching, and witness. This study recommends that the church adopt approaches to digital discipleship, holistic ministry, and social solidarity as responses to disruption while remaining firmly grounded in a sound theological foundation.
