Psychological Resilience of Human Resources in Da’wah Institutions: A Prophetic Paradigm Analysis in the Indonesian Context

Early Maghfiroh Innayati

Abstract

Psychological resilience is an essential capacity for human resources in da’wah institutions to cope with work-related pressures, demands for community service, interpersonal conflicts, resource constraints, and changing social dynamics. However, the study of resilience in da’wah organizations needs to move beyond an individual-centered approach that emphasizes endurance and adaptation by considering the spiritual, ethical, and structural dimensions of organizations. This article aims to analyze the psychological resilience of human resources in da’wah institutions through the prophetic paradigm by integrating psychological resilience theory, conservation of resources theory, and the concept of prophetic social science. The study employs a literature review method by examining relevant academic sources on resilience, human resource management, prophetic leadership, and Islamic organizations. The analysis focuses on four prophetic values: ṣiddīq (truthfulness), amānah (trustworthiness and responsibility), tablīgh (communication), and faṭānah (intelligence and wisdom), as well as their relationships with social support, psychological safety, work meaningfulness, and organizational resource management. This article proposes a conceptual framework in which the psychological resilience of human resources in da’wah institutions emerges from the interaction of individual capacities, social relationships, leadership practices, and organizational conditions grounded in prophetic values. The article contributes to the development of a resilience perspective that extends beyond individual endurance by emphasizing institutional responsibility for creating a healthy, ethical, and sustainable da’wah environment.
