Abstract

This article aims to formulate a conceptual framework for LP2M Smart Learning as an integrated digital ecosystem for community service programs, field-based learning, and community engagement that is culturally responsive. The study employs a qualitative-conceptual approach using an institutional case-informed framework-building strategy at UIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo. The analysis involves problem mapping, conceptual bridging, framework construction, theoretical triangulation, and negative-case reasoning based on institutional documents and relevant literature. The findings reveal three key needs: integrating the learning journey from pre-field preparation to follow-up activities, strengthening local wisdom as an epistemic and pedagogical resource, and establishing ethical governance grounded in participation, consent, reflection, transparency, and community protection. The study proposes a grounded digitality framework comprising six dimensions: experiential continuity, place contextuality, epistemic reciprocity, cultural sustainability, ethical reflexivity, and humane governance. This framework reorients digitalization toward learning quality, knowledge sustainability, community reciprocity, and ethical responsibility.
