Abstract


Although data is now produced very quickly, databases remain a collection of structured information that is easy to access, manage, and update. To monitor sales transactions, product stock, customer data, and marketing strategies, companies need a good database system. The Database Management System (DBMS) is an important element in the process of managing and manipulating this data. In making decisions related to data security and efficiency, careful consideration is needed so that important information remains well protected. Understanding security risks in database systems and preventing them does require in-depth knowledge, considering that information is a very important asset for every company. Therefore, this paper discusses various important aspects related to database security, including the latest technologies that can help protect data from possible threats
