Abstract

This study aims to enhance students' learning motivation through the application of group discussion methods in the subject of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in class XI.3 at SMA Plus Ar-Raudhah. The group discussion method was chosen for its ability to create an interactive learning environment and encourage active student participation. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires involving students and teachers. The results indicate that the implementation of the group discussion method significantly enhances students' learning motivation, evidenced by increased active participation and enthusiasm in learning. These findings suggest that the group discussion method is an effective strategy for boosting student motivation in PAI lessons.
