Abstract


Islamic Cultural History (SKI) is crucial in developing students' understanding and spiritual identity. In practice, SKI learning is frequently conducted in a dull manner, leading to low student involvement and less effective classroom management. With the swift advancement of technology, multiple digital learning tools can be employed to foster more engaging and pleasurable educational experiences. One of them is Quizizz, an interactive learning app that provides competitive and stimulating experiences for learners. This research utilized Classroom Action Research (CAR) performed in class X.3 of MA Al-Muthohhar with 21 students participating. The study sought to enhance student involvement and classroom management in SKI learning by utilizing Quizizz. The research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle including planning, execution, observation, and reflection phases. Information was gathered using observation forms, assessments of learning outcomes, documents, and student feedback surveys, which were then analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that Quizizz improved students’ engagement, fostered a more organized classroom environment, and led to improved learning results. Therefore, Quizizz can be seen as an efficient teaching tool to enhance student participation and facilitate better classroom management in SKI learning.
