Abstract


Learning is a process of change that changes behavior as a result of interaction with the environment in fulfilling one's life needs. According to Slameto that: "Learning is a process of effort carried out by a person to obtain new behavioral changes as a whole, as a result of his own experience in interacting with his environment." Learning is a process of changing behavior from not knowing, from not understanding to understanding, from less skilled to more skilled, and from old habits to new habits, and is beneficial for the environment and the individual himself. Learning outcomes play an important role in the learning process. In this study, the method used is classroom action research (CAR). The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes in the subject of Fiqh class XI MA YPPA Cipulus by applying the PQRST Method (Preview, Question, Read, Summarize). This research was conducted collaboratively involving researchers, supervising teachers, field supervisors. Participants in this study consisted of 29 students of class XI SAINTEK Salman at MA YPPA Cipulus. In the first cycle, the learning outcomes of students on the material of Adultery, Stealing and Drinking Alcohol by applying the PQRST Method (Preview, Question, Read, Summarize and Test) experienced an increase, namely there were 19 students who completed (65.52%) and 10 students who had not completed (34.48%). Then in the second cycle on the material of Adultery, Stealing and Drinking Alcohol, it was known that 25 students completed the material (86.21%) and 4 students who had not completed it (13.79%). So the increase from cycle I to cycle II was 20.69%.
