Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of PowerPoint-based learning multimedia in improving students' understanding of Fiqh subjects in class X MA Mansyaul Ulum Ganjaran Gondanglegi Malang. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive-analytical methods. Research subjects include Fiqh teachers, class X students, and related staff at the madrasah. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: (1) students' understanding of Fiqh subjects in class X is still diverse with some students experiencing difficulties in understanding abstract concepts; (2) the implementation of PowerPoint-based learning is carried out through the ASSURE model which includes the planning stage, implementation with systematic steps, and evaluation using authentic assessment; (3) supporting factors include the availability of technological infrastructure, student enthusiasm, and teacher competence in technology, while inhibiting factors include limited LCD projectors, teacher comfort with conventional lecture methods, and differences in students' comprehension abilities. This study concludes that the implementation of PowerPoint multimedia has not been fully effective due to suboptimal utilization, but shows potential in increasing student motivation and understanding when applied optimally.
